Regis Sibra was born 1953 in Provence. At the age of eight, he began taking painting courses with a renowned professor. He later had several expositions in France and several other countries where he received numerous awards for his talents: Grand Prix du Réalisme, Prix Sévigné, Prix Master, Grand Prix de la ville de Fréjus, and many others. The Musée International de Gien acquired two of his paintings for their collection.

Painter, illustrator, Regis Sibra has chosen a familiar theme for inspiration, one where he knows without a doubt will never part from him: Provence. He reveals this region to us, in the rhythm of the seasons, an inexhaustible subject matter that he drafts with a personal quality. His works evoke such passion, they connect everyone to his heritage of Provence.

In his studio, Regis Sibra creates magic and finds inspiration from the lavender fields, sunflowers, old olive vineyards, and calm blue Mediterranean of Provence.

“Sibra is a passionate painter of Provence: the cicadas and the sun gives our heart joy for this happiness. To see absolutely.”
